Everything from harpies to dangerous man-eating carp is everywhere. After playing this game long enough, you'll realize why dwarves don't like going outside. There are a lot of ways for dwarves to die. Starvation, riots, goblins raiders stealing your babies, goblin war parties stealing your lives, elephants, vampires, werewolves, werebears, werebadgers, carp, digging into an aquifer, digging into lava, digging into the nesting area of a Forgotten Beast, selling wood to hippies, insanity, drowning in knee-deep water, and being attacked by your own dismembered finger. Not technically 'impossible', but it might just be easier to settle on building a bridge for now. "Surviving for 100 years" is like "curing cancer". Make small, simple goals that you know you can complete. What goals you set in the game are up to you. There is no victory, only glorious deaths. Don't dig too far down, or something scary will follow you back up. Wall off your fortress or a necromancer will make your lunch attack you.

SuperTuxKart specific art assets: Assets that are specific to the world of SuperTuxKart are harder to make not because the are necessarily technically more difficult but involve careful thinking about plausibility and consistency inside the SuperTuxKart world. It is also a nice area for smaler contributions as this assets consume probably less time to make. This includes the technical side of things as well as the general art style.

List of the needed art assets: I know that such a list is hard to maintain and tends to be outdated but it gives a good idea of what is currently needed for the game. So I think there can a few things be done to make it easier to find something that doesn't end up rejected because it is not needed/used. Back in the days it was quite easy to find something to improve but today the overall quality of the game's art is better than ever. I have created a few textures for SuperTuxKart in the past and would like to contribute a few pieces again after years of inactiveness. Just wanted to share a few thoughts and ideas regarding the creation of SuperTuxKart art assets.
